The East Moline Foundation Advisory Board recently met to review and approve grant distributions for 2016. Members of the East Moline Foundation Advisory Board include: Bob Baecke, Chairman; Larry Anderson, Vice Chairman; Bill Phares, Secretary/Treasurer and Board members Pat VanBruwaene, Terry Brahm, Connie Dowsett, Doug Reynolds and Willie Ellis.

 

The following grants were approved to give to charitable organizations that benefit the citizens of East Moline and the surrounding area:

 

 

1. Christ United Methodist Church $3,000.00

 

 

2. Churches United of the QCA $1,000.00

 

 

3. National Society of the DAR $1,000.00

 

 

4. Quad Cities Area Children’s Food Program $1,000.00

 

 

5. UTHS Wall of Heroes $1,000.00

 

 

6. Watertown Food Pantry $3,000.00

 

 

 

Total: $10,000.00
