LeClaire, Iowa has been nominated for the distinction of “Best Main Street Shopping Experience.” Please vote for LeClaire at www.bestshoppingonmain.com
The online competition to choose the best shopping or historic district divides communities into three categories: “Quaint” for towns with a population under 10,000, “Charming” for communities with 10,001-50,000 residents, and “Bustling” for cities with 50,001-100,000 residents. LeClaire falls in the “Quaint” category and is currently in fourth place behind Galena, Illinois and three other towns.
The winner will be featured in a special episode of the nationally syndicated hit TV show “Small Town Big Deal.” Hosts Jann Carl and Rodney Miller will highlight the local businesses and residents in a video that showcases what makes the winning town’s shopping experience unique. In addition, the winning “Main Street” will have its shops and businesses preserved in its own unique section of ShopOnMain.com so that everyone in the country can discover them and enjoy shopping America’s Best Main Street.
Voting continues until March 31, 2016. Individuals can vote once per email address, but they can also share the voting link with others via email and on their Facebook pages. Please support LeClaire, Iowa at www.bestshoppingonmain.com
