Monmouth, Illinois - Warren County United Way is now accepting applications for the 2016/2017 Funding Year. Warren County United Way is happy to announce that they will be accepting applications for membership through March 11, 2016. Any organization who provides health, rehabilitation, charitable, or educational services to residents of Warren County may make a request to become a member agency of the Warren County United Way. Potential members must meet the following criteria:

Organizations holding a current IRS 501(c)(3) exemption letter, that has been in existence for 5 years or more; who are governed by a board of trustees or directors, and who agree to sign an annual contract with the Warren County United Way.

Organizations may be a religious organization or group, provided that proselytizing is not part of the access to United Way funded services.

Executive director Jeannie Weber added, “As funding opportunities continue to become more competitive, Warren County United Way continues to look for new sources of funding for its agencies and for the community. This year, we have raised record funds for Warren County, and we anticipate that funding will only continue to increase as community need increases.” She added, “Our community supports us, because our sole mission is to support our community.”

There are currently 26 member agencies associated with Warren County United Way from numerous cities in a 60 mile radius.

This year, Warren County United Way has made applying for membership much easier. The application, as well as criteria may be found on their website at warrencountyunitedway.com.
