MOLINE, IL – WQPT, Quad Cities PBS is pleased to announce that Andrew Orrego-Lindstad has joined the station as their new Director of Development. Andrew comes to WQPT from the Second Wind Fund, a statewide youth and child suicide prevention mental health provider in Denver, Colorado where he served as Director of Development. “I am so excited to join this wonderful group committed to bringing quality, educational programs to the Quad Cities region,” said Orrego-Lindstad.

Joining Mr. Orrego-Lindstad is Brian Williams as WQPT’s Underwriter and Outreach Coordinator. The position is new to WQPT and Brian comes to the station from North Scott Press where he was an Account Executive. He and his family have been longtime volunteers for the station.  “I am happy to be with WQPT and be part of the PBS family and to spread the word about all that WQPT does in our community,” said Mr. Williams.

"Both positions were filled after a careful search by respective search committees.  We are delighted to welcome such accomplished professionals to our staff." said WQPT General Manager Mary Pruess.

Mr. Orrego-Lindstad replaces Jamie Lange, who spent 6 years in the position.
