· Time-traveling from the past comes Chris Butler and his new CD, The Museum of Me, due this Tuesday on the Future Fossil Music label. Formerly of Waitresses - made forever famous by their 1980s classic "I Know What Boys Like" - Butler's latest offering of "bent pop" features a novel approach, as the album was recorded primarily on antique and obsolete devices and processes such as original Edison wax cylinders, wire-recording techniques from the 1940s, and do-it-yourself home-recording disc-cutting machines from the 1930s.
