The Rotary Club of Davenport will be conducting a Fire Prevention and Safety community awareness project, this Saturday, April 12, 9:30 am - 1:00 pm. We are partnering with the American Red Cross and the Davenport Fire Department to distribute educational materials on fire prevention and safety and emergency procedures in the home.
All volunteers will meet in the St. Ambrose parking lot on West Lombard St. just East of North Gaines St. at 9:30 a.m. The Red Cross will provide vehicles to transport everyone around the community. Three neighborhoods will be targeted on the East side, North and Central areas of Davenport.
The press is invited to meet at St. Ambrose at 9:30 and accompany the volunteers at that time, or you may call event chair Annette Horvath on her cell phone (563-508-5982) during the morning to see where they are and join them in progress.
