New Theatre Company in the QC

For Immediate Release November 16, 2007 Contact: ace@qctheatreweb.com (309) 757-1387 A new theatre company for the Quad Cities Allison Collins-Elfline, producing Artistic Director, announces the Quad Cities newest theatre company, Riverbend Theatre Collective. Ms. Collins-Elfline, a QC native, is proud to be living in the QC again and to be able to bring a new kind of theatre experience to the Quad City area. "There are so many wonderfully intimate, contemporary plays and musicals being written, and we at Riverbend Theatre Collective hope to be able to bring that kind of experience to the theatre-loving audiences of the Quad Cities" Collins-Elfline says. Riverbend Theatre Collective, or "RTC", will be producing it's first season in the summer of 2008. However the company's first performance will be a Fundraising Holiday Cabaret on Saturday, December 15 at 7pm at Dead Poet's Espresso, 1525 3rd Avenue in downtown Moline. Many of the Quad Cities much-loved singers and performers will be participating in the night of holiday celebration. RTC is in the process of becoming a non-profit (501c3) entity and hopes that the wonderful theatre patrons of the QC will come down and help support this new company.
