June 21st, 2017 in Quad Cities, IA - On Wed. July 19th the locally owned Olive Tree Cafés will donate a percentage of proceeds from meals to the 46th Annual Quad Cities CROP Hunger Walk.

Everyone is invited to dine at either the Bettendorf or Davenport Olive Tree restaurants from 4:00pm- 8:00pm. 2513 53rd Ave in Bettendorf or 1416 W Locust in Davenport.

CROP Hunger Walks are community-wide events sponsored by Church World Service and organized by religious groups, businesses, schools and others to raise funds to end hunger in the U.S. and around the world.

For almost half a century, the Quad Cities has raised money to combat hunger locally and globally. The local organizations that benefit from the fundraising efforts are Humility of Mary Shelter, Churches United Hunger Ministries, Scott County Meals on Wheels, Riverbend Food Bank Kids' Café, and the Expanded Food and Nutrition Program.

About the 46th Annual Quad Cities Crop Walk

• Register and donate online at www.crophungerwalk.org/quadcities or make checks payable to CWS/CROP Walk.

• Attend the 2017 Quad Cities CROP Hunger Walk Recruiters Rally Open House on Thursday, August 17 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at First Lutheran Church, 5th Avenue and 13th Street, Moline.

• Report to the Walk on Sunday Oct 1 at Modern Woodmen Park. Be there at 1:00pm for registration and walk alongside 400 people to raise more than $40,000 to fight against hunger!
