Rock Island, Illinois – The Quad City Federation of Labor Executive Board, AFL-CIO, has announced their endorsement for the upcoming Democratic Primary for Rock Island County Sheriff. The executive board unanimously voted to endorse Gerry Bustos.

“Sheriff Bustos has a long record of standing up for working families within Rock Island County. The Quad City Federation of Labor stands enthusiastically with Gerry in his campaign.” said President Dino Leone.

Sheriff Bustos has over 30 years of law enforcement experience with the Rock Island County Sheriff’s Office and has worked in every department within the office.

Sheriff Bustos, seeking his 2nd full term, is married to Congresswoman Cheri Bustos and they have three adult children.
