WASHINGTON DC (February 18, 2019) — Senator Kamala Harris will make her second trip to Iowa as a Democratic presidential candidate February 23-24, where she will hold town hall meetings in Ankeny and Scott County, speak at an event hosted by the Iowa Democratic Party Black Caucus, and participate in several community conversations. This trip will be another opportunity for Iowans to hear directly from Harris about her vision for America and ask her questions about important issues.

On Saturday evening, Harris will keynote an Iowa Democratic Party Black Caucus event. In the evening in Cedar Rapids, she will participate in an event moderated by the hosts of Political Party Live, a local podcast hosted by Iowa Democrats with a live audience.
Harris recently announced additional staff dedicated to Iowa as she ramps up her operation ahead of the caucuses. Harris’s Iowa visit will be the third of four trips to important early states this month.
