DAVENPORT, IOWA (March 18, 2019) — Help us celebrate National Poetry Month by creating and exploring different kinds of poetry, beginning April 1 at 4PM at Fairmount (3000 N Fairmount). We'll have some supplies, but you're welcome to bring your own!

April 1 at 4PM — Poet-tree: Write poems to hang on Fairmount’s silver tree! April 8 at 4PM — Blackout Poetry: Explore your visually artistic side and create poetry by blacking out text on old book pages! April 15 at 4PM — Silhouette Poetry: Create a poem that forms the outline of a visual image! April 22 at 4PM — Acrostic Poetry: Create poems the spell out a word or phrase with certain letters in each line. April 29 at 4PM — Poetry Collage: Collect words from magazines, newspapers, or anywhere to create new poems!
