MOUNT CARROLL, ILLINOIS (December 6, 2019) — Featuring over thirty Christmas songs and holiday comedy, the Timber Lake Playhouse (TLP) cast of singers, dancers, and musicians present an unforgettable holiday experience with TLP’s flair for production. This show is perfect for the whole family and every audience.

Last Christmas, TLP presented Christmas Kaleidoscope at Henry's Double K in Mount Carroll. Theatre-goers were treated to a musical/comedy/variety show with over thirty great Christmas songs. This season, with the winterization of the theatre, TLP has moved the Christmas show to the TLP campus. With the move to the Playhouse, TLP has been able to expand the production to a full-fledged Timber Lake Extravaganza.

Creator and Director, Dan Danielowski, describes the show as “…part concert and part spectacle, part Broadway and part Branson. This show will even put Scrooge and The Grinch in the Christmas Spirit!" When you pull up to the theatre, you'll be greeted with the nearly 10,000 lights decorating the trees in front of the theatre. The lobby will be filled with the sights and smells of Christmas, and the theatre is festooned in Christmas décor.

The ten musicians on stage will create the "Big Band" sound in support of the ten performers singing and dancing to "Let it Snow," "I'll Be Home For Christmas," "Oh Holy Night," "Joy to the World," and more of the Christmas songs you've come to love.

“Christmas Kaleidoscope marks the first time TLP will be producing a show in the winter at the playhouse,” said TLP’s Artistic Director, Paul Stancato. “With our new lobby and ability to heat the theatre, we are excited to continue to bring our audiences spectacular shows this winter.”

Christmas Kaleidoscope is directed by Dan Danielowski and choreographed by choreographer and dancer, Michael Jones, with Music Direction by Lee Harris, both making their TLP début. It features singers Katherine Herbert, Annie Etchison, Luis Herrea, and Robert McFletcher-Jones, dancers Kayah Alexandra Franklin, Emily Kramm, Victoria Madden, pianist Hale Guyer, and comedian Ben Marshall. McFletcher-Jones and Marshall return from last Christmas’s show at Henry’s Double K in Mount Carroll.

Christmas Kaleidoscope runs through Sunday, December 15. Santa Claus will make an appearance prior to the Saturday Matinees for pictures and treats with the kids. Tickets are available online at www.timberlakeplayhouse.org or by calling the Box Office, (815) 244-2035. Box Office hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10AM–3PM and until intermission on show days.
