DAVENPORT, IOWA (February 3, 2021) — Gilda’s Club is hosting a FREE virtual workshop for anyone impacted by cancer on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, 6-7:30PM, via Zoom.
Join us via Zoom for a presentation lead by Linda Jager MD with Iowa Cancer Specialists on Frankly Speaking about Cancer: Cancer Risks Among African Americans.
This presentation will discuss:
- The most common cancers among black men;
- The most common cancers among black women; and
- Screening guidelines to help you stay current with cancer screenings you should be receiving.
This presentation will set you up with an action plan to move forward to reduce risks of getting cancer.
This workshop will also be broadcast via Facebook Live at facebook.com/gildasclubqc.
