DAVENPORT, IOWA (August 2, 2022) — Gilda’s Club is hosting a free educational workshop entitled “Frankly Speaking About Cancer: Metastatic Breast Cancer” for anyone impacted by cancer on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, 6-7:30PM, with dinner starting at 5:30 at Gilda’s Club Quad Cities Davenport Clubhouse, located at 1351 W Central Park Ave, Suite 200, Davenport, Iowa, 52804.

This free workshop featuring Susannah Friemel MD of Iowa Cancer Specialists offers information on the latest treatments for metastatic breast cancer. In addition to learning about treatment options and side-effect management, patients and their loved ones will also learn about ways to cope with the social and emotional challenges of this diagnosis.

Dinner will be provided for pre-registered in-person attendees.

This program is being offered hybrid. Participants can register to attend in-person or virtually via Zoom. Registration is REQUIRED. Workshop will be held at our Davenport Clubhouse at 1351 W Central Park Ave, Suite 200, Davenport, IA 52801.
