MOLINE, ILLINOIS (September 7, 2022) — A one-of-a-kind museum on wheels will make a stop at the Moline Public Library in September. The Mobile Museum of Tolerance, from the Simon Wiesenthal Center, will be located in the library’s north parking lot on Wednesday, September 28 (10AM-6PM); Thursday, September 29 (10AM-6PM); and Friday, September 30 (10AM-4PM).
The Mobile Museum of Tolerance’s purpose is to inspire people of all ages and backgrounds, empowering them to raise their voices and combat anti-Semitism, bullying, racism, hate, and intolerance and to promote human dignity.
Modeled after the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center’s successful “Tour for Humanity” bus, which has visited hundreds of schools across Canada since launching in 2013, the MMOT is the first of its kind in the United States.
