DIXON, IOWA (November 27, 2024) — On Saturday, December 7, 2024, 1PM, there will be a Natural Wreath Class held at the Wapsi River Environmental Education Center in Dixon, Iowa. Join Naturalist Mike and learn how to make a natural wreath.

Grapevine will be used to create a wreath base which will then be decorated with pine boughs, pine cones, seeds, and nuts. Participants may bring items to decorate and personalize their own creation.

The Wapsi River Environmental Education Center can be found six miles south of Wheatland or one mile northwest of Dixon, Iowa, by taking County Road Y4E, then turning north at 52nd Avenue and following the signs for about one mile.
