DAVENPORT, IOWA (October 2, 2026) — The Downtown Davenport Partnership (DDP) will bring Halloween fun to Downtown Davenport during the Spooky Spectacular and Candy Crawl from noon to 3PM, Saturday, October 24.
Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes, pick up an event map, and make their way through downtown collecting treats while enjoying Halloween-themed experiences hosted by participating businesses.
All participating businesses will distribute candy while supplies last. Families can enjoy face painting, balloon animals, live magic, a spooky kids walk, Halloween photo opportunities, and other kid-friendly activities throughout downtown.
Adults can also get in on the fun with seasonal drink specials, Halloween-themed cocktails, trivia, shopping promotions, and other festive offerings at participating businesses.
“There’s something nostalgic about putting on a costume, collecting candy and spending an afternoon exploring downtown,” said Haley Moore, Manager, Placemaking & Marketing for DDP.
“Spooky Spectacular and Candy Crawl brings that feeling to life while creating new memories for the people who join us each year.”
Participants can pick up an event map at any participating business and follow the route through downtown. Full event details can be found here: downtowndavenport.com/spooky-spectacular-candy-crawl/.
The Halloween festivities continue the following day with the Downtown Davenport Halloween Parade at 2PM, Sunday, October 25, in Downtown Davenport.
