DAVENPORT, IOWA (October 12, 2026) — Paranormal investigator Aaron G Thompson, featured talent from Netflix's 28 Days Haunted, is bringing a brand-new live experience home to the Quad Cities just in time for Halloween: THE BEST DAMN GHOST TALK.. . OF YOUR LIFE!, a ninety-minute interactive paranormal theater show at The Last Picture House in Davenport on Friday, October 30, 7PM — one night only, on the eve of All Hallows' Eve, when the veil is thinnest.

Thompson, who co-presents the show with his wife and fellow researcher Kathryn “Kat” Thompson, has spent more than two decades investigating the paranormal — from national haunts to national TV. Together they're a modern Ed and Lorraine Warren: a husband-and-wife team chasing the unexplained across the country. The Ghost Talk distills all of it into a single live night: Real investigations, real data, and a show the audience helps steer in real time.

“This isn't a haunted house and it isn't a lecture,” Thompson said.

“It's a live ghost hunt with a room full of people — the audience helps decide where the night goes. Every show is different because every crowd is different. And you get to do it sitting down, with a cocktail, in a beautiful old cinema.”

The show is staged as a grown-up Halloween weekend night out: one seating, limited seats, no lines, no waiting — all treats, no tricks, and a deliberate contrast to the traditional haunted-house queue. Tickets are $13 (plus a $1.99 booking fee) and available now at the Last Picture House website: lastpicturehouse.com/movie/the-best-damn-ghost-talkof-your-life-with-aaron-g-thompson-and-kathryn-thompson.
