Keith Alberstadt at Bally's Quad Cities -- October 23 and 24.

Friday, October 23, and Saturday, October 24, 7 & 9:15 p.m.

Bally's Quad Cities, 777 Bally Boulevard, Rock Island IL

A regular at the world-famous Comedy Cellar in New York City admired for his playful personality, clever wit, and refreshingly PG-13 material, comedian Keith Alberstadt enjoys a two-night engagement at Rock Island's Bally's Quad Cities, the Aspen Laff Festival's executive director Gram Slaton praising the standup as "a genius" who performs "the toughest kind of humor to consistently pull off."

Starting his standup-comedy career in his hometown of Nashville, Alberstadt eventually moved to New York City, where it didn’t take him long to land in the national spotlight. A freelance writer for Saturday Night Live's "Weekend Update" segments and freelance monologue-joke writer for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, the comedian has appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Last Comic Standing, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen, and he made the final four on CMT's competition program Next Big Comic. Alberstadt also has four albums in rotation on Pandora, SiriusXM Radio, and various online platforms, his most recent recording Walk It Off ranking among the top 10 comedy albums on iTunes the day after his appearance on Colbert's show. Mark Ridley, owner of Detroit's Comedy Castle, stated, "I thought I had seen everyone who can make me laugh. Then, along comes Keith Alberstadt. He’s become one of my top ten favorite comedians. He hit out of the park every show. His writing and professionalism were second to none. And the audiences loved him.”

Inspired by family, marriage, and idiosyncrasies in life that often go unnoticed, Alberstadt is a favorite at comedy clubs all over the country, including his home club, the world-famous Comedy Cellar in New York City. He was a finalist for the title "New York’s Funniest Stand-Up" at the NY Comedy Festival and voted “Best of the Fest” at the 2012 Aspen Laff Festival, and the standup regularly entertains U.S. troops in Afghanistan, Iraq, and around the world. Rich Davis, the executive producer of the "Comics on Duty World Tour," raved, "Keith Alberstadt has traveled the globe with 'Comics On Duty' for more than a decade – entertaining thousands of men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces from the front lines to the base clubs and theaters. On stage and off, Keith is one of my favorite comedians of all time. He is extremely funny, humble, honest and a fantastic human being. There are few comics today that would rank as high on my charts as Keith Alberstadt!”

Keith Alberstadt brings his standup set to the Rock Island casino hotel on October 23 and 24 alongside guest comedian Luca Ferro, admission to the 7 & 9:15 p.m. shows is $25 per night, and more information and tickets are available by calling (309)756-4600 and visiting Casinos.ballys.com/quad-cities.
