DAVENPORT, IOWA (October 15, 2026) — During the October 14 Special City Council meeting, the Davenport City Council appointed Robert (Bob) Inghram to serve as the Second Ward Alderman.
He will hold this position until the next city election in November 2027; unless a petition for a Second Ward special election is received.
Inghram brings 32 years of service on the City’s Plan and Zoning Commission, including the past five years as Chairman.
In addition to his extensive involvement with the Commission, Inghram has fifty years of professional experience in the construction industry.
He was officially sworn in by the Deputy City Clerk after the special meeting concluded.
