“Sesame Street Presents! Elmo's Got the Moves" at the Orpheum Theatre -- November 4.

Wednesday, November 4, 6 p.m.

Orpheum Theatre, 57 South Kellogg Street, Galesburg IA

On November 4, you're invited to make unforgettable memories with your little ones at Sesame Street Presents! Elmo’s Got the Moves, an exciting experience at Galesburg's Orpheum Theatre that brings Elmo and his Sesame Street friends to the stage with singing, dancing, and favorite songs like “Sunny Days,” "Letter of the Day," and the show's bouncy title tune.

In this delightful touring production, families will discover fun and playful ways to move – from yoga and jumping rope to cartwheeling and silly dance moves – all in a welcoming environment that brings the magic of Sesame Street from the screen to the stage. More than just a show, Elmo’s Got the Moves is a shared moment of laughter and learning – an experience you and your child will treasure long after the final song.

At SesameStreetLive.com, you'll find biographies of the show's beloved stars:

Elmo is a three-and-a-half-year-old red monster with a cheerful voice and contagious giggle. Elmo is enthusiastic, friendly, and curious. He loves to learn new things, make friends and be a part of everything that happens on Sesame Street!

An imaginative and playful four-year-old, Abby Cadabby is the daughter of the Fairy Godmother; she’s also a fairy-in-training! A confident and creative young learner, Abby is eager to discover new things about the world and find the magic around her!

Cookie Monster is an endearing and determined monster with an insatiable appetite for food and more specifically cookies! He's a lovable friend who is learning self-regulation, sharing and cooperation!

Big Bird is a six-and-a-half-year-old yellow bird whose unusual height gives him a unique perspective on the world. Sincere, caring, and open-hearted, he is learning to face big emotions and big challenges. He has an active imagination, a lot of curiosity, and a desire to help others in his community.

Grover, Sesame Street’s gregarious fuzzy and blue monster, accomplishes his tasks with a childlike exuberance that makes his friends laugh. Grover is the ultimate representation of try and try ... and try again!

Oscar, Sesame Street’s resident Grouch, despises all things “nice” like rainbows, singing, and dancing. Being grouchy makes him happy, but being happy makes him grouchy again.

Sesame Street Presents! Elmo's Got the Moves comes to the Orpheum Theatre on November 4, admission to the 6 p.m. stage production is $41.40-51.80, and more information and tickets are available by caling (309)342-2299 and visiting GalesburgOprheum.org.
