MACOMB/MOLINE, ILLINOIS (October 28, 2026) — Western Illinois University's Youth Performing Arts Series (YPAS) is back and underway at the Goldfarb Center for Performing Arts. All performances begin at 10AM unless otherwise indicated.

The current YPAS lineup includes:

Tuesday, November 10: Ballet Quad Cities

Tuesday, December 1: STOMP (11AM)

Tuesday, February 9: Chris Vallillo

Thursday, March 25: TaikoArts

The Youth Performing Arts Series offers live arts performances on the WIU campus for area students in kindergarten through eighth grade. For many students, YPAS performances represent their only opportunity to experience live arts programming during the school year.

All YPAS performances are offered at no cost to participating schools through funding provided by the Performing Arts Society (PAS). In addition, PAS subsidizes the cost of transporting students to campus.

PAS members believe every child should have the opportunity to experience the excitement of a live performance. The series provides special performances free of charge to area schoolchildren, reaching more than 6,000 students each year. Since 1984, more than 200,000 children have attended a YPAS event.

To register your school for a YPAS performance or request a bus reimbursement form, e-mail YPAS administration at ypas@wiu.edu.
