Expanding education for Illinois students to combat hate one prong of Governor’s anti-hate crimes initiative
SPRINGFIELD – Governor Bruce Rauner announced today the State of Illinois will work with the Simon Wiesenthal Center to expand anti-hate education to Illinois students. This is part of Governor Rauner’s efforts to combat anti-Semitism and other hate crimes in Illinois.
The following local students were named to the President's List at Drake University. This academic honor is achieved by earning a straight-A GPA of 4.0 for the Fall 2016 semester.

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Dave Loebsack announced today that his office is now accepting applications for nomination to the U.S. Service Academies for the 2018 freshman class.
