DES MOINES, IOWA (February 24, 2022) — Governor Kim Reynolds has received notification that President Biden has granted her request for a Presidential Major Disaster Declaration for 25 counties that were severely impacted by December 15, 2021, high winds, severe storms, and tornadoes. The declaration provides assistance to public entities and select nonprofit organizations.

Cox, of North Liberty, Iowa, currently serves as a magistrate in Johnson County and practices law with Bray and Klockau PLC in Iowa City. Cox received his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and his law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law.
