DES MOINES, IOWA (September 14, 2021) — Governor Kim Reynolds has signed a proclamation convening a special legislative session on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. The purpose of the special session will be to consider and enact a plan of legislative and congressional redistricting in accordance with the framework set forth in chapter 42 of the Iowa Code.

DES MOINES, IOWA (September 3, 2021) — Governor Kim Reynolds today announced her appointment of Stacy Ritchie as a district court judge in Judicial Election District 5A.

Ritchie, of Adel, Iowa, currently serves as an Assistant Dallas County Attorney. She received her undergraduate degree from Bethel College in St. Paul, Minnesota and her law degree from the Drake University Law School.
