WASHINGTON DC (April 10, 2019) — Representative Dave Loebsack released the following statement today after the House passed HR1644, the Save the Internet Act of 2019. The bill enacts three, widely-supported, bipartisan-principles of net-neutrality — no blocking, no throttling, and no paid-prioritization. Also included in the legislation is support for the Connect America Fund, which is used to help fund the expansion of broadband-infrastructure in rural areas.
