DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 11, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits, Class-A Affiliate of the Houston Astros, have partnered with Century Electric and Solar of Eldridge, Iowa, to install a small solar farm on the roof of Modern Woodmen Park. The 58-panel array, paid for without any city or state money, is located on the roof of the suite level on the third-base side. It uses green energy to offset the annual electric-usage of the new state-of-the-art LED outfield-lights.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 10, 2019) — RJ Freure and Julio Robaina combined to limit the Kane County Cougars to just four hits in 2-0 win for the Quad Cities River Bandits on Friday night at Modern Woodmen Park.  The shutout was the 11th of the season for the River Bandits pitching staff and the opposition has not scored against them in the last 21.0 innings.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 8, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits used another stellar pitching performance and timely hitting to knock off the Kane County Cougars by a 3-2 score on Saturday night at Modern Woodmen Park. Brett Daniels and Humberto Castellanos combined to strike out 13 batters on the mound as the Bandits improved their record to 38-20.

PEORIA, ILLINOIS (June 6, 2019) — It is not often that a baseball team registers a walk-off win in their opponents’ ballpark, but that is exactly what the Quad Cities River Bandits did to the Peoria Chiefs on Thursday night at Dozer Park. Serving as the home-team because the games were moved due to flooding in Davenport, David Hensley snapped a scoreless-tie with an RBI double into the gap in the bottom of the ninth inning to lead the River Bandits to a 1-0 victory.
