Jim Luebke, Jason Schaad, Jackie Patterson, Jessica Moore, and Riley Mathew in Big ... Bad ... Mouse!

Thursday, August 17, through Sunday, August 27

Richmond Hill Barn Theatre, 600 Robinson Drive, Geneseo IL

Written by Philip King and Falkland L. Cary, 1964's farcical slapstick Big … Bad … Mouse! became a touring sensation when it became a vehicle for popular British comedians Jimmy Edward and Eric Skyles, and was a top-selling attraction during the three years the show played London's West End.

The action takes place in the sleepy factory office of Chunkibix Ltd., where the pompous Mr. Price-Hargraves gives orders to his downtrodden assistant Mr. Bloome … until, that is, Bloome is publicly accused of chasing a young woman across the Common. Astoundingly, Bloome's presumed aberrant behavior makes him a hero among everyone in the office. But when the harassed young lady realizes the mistake in her identification, Bloome is the opposite of relieved, and becomes comically determined to keep the truth from being revealed.

Directed by Barn Theatre veteran Doe DePauw, this madcap farce features Jason Schaad as Bloome and Jim Leubke as Price-Hargraves, with the rest of cast filled out by Renee Fortino, Will Luebke, Riley Matthews, Jessica Moore, and Jackie Patterson.

Big … Bad … Mouse! runs Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m., and more information and tickets are available by calling (309)944-2244 or visiting RHPlayers.com.
