DAVENPORT, IOWA (November 7, 2019) — The Vera French Foundation hosted its annual Gala on Saturday, October 26th at The Outing Club in Davenport, Iowa. The event celebrated the organization’s 70th anniversary. Since 1949, Vera French Community Mental Health Center (previously the Scott County Mental Health Center before being renamed after Dr Vera French in 1982) has been providing community mental health services.

The 5-bed home located in Davenport offers a short-term stay (less than five calendar days) for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.
