Extreme Weather Program at the Davenport Library

The weather affects everybody, especially here in the Midwest. Join us at Fairmount (3000 Fairmount) on Thursday, November 28 at 6:30pm for a program on Extreme Weather. Staff from the National Weather Service will present videos and tell you how to get involved as a “citizen scientist”, everyday people that take real-time weather observations, alert officials about severe weather and contribute to NOAA research.

Dance Me a Story: The Nutcracker at the Davenport Library

Start off the holiday season with dancers from Ballet Quad Cities as they bring an hour of movement and music from The Nutcracker ballet to the Davenport Library. Join us at Fairmount (3000 Fairmount) on Tuesday, December 5 at 6:00pm and watch this timeless story come to life.
