The weather affects everybody, especially here in the Midwest. Join us at Fairmount (3000 Fairmount) on Thursday, November 28 at 6:30pm for a program on Extreme Weather. Staff from the National Weather Service will present videos and tell you how to get involved as a “citizen scientist”, everyday people that take real-time weather observations, alert officials about severe weather and contribute to NOAA research.

This event is FREE and open to the public. For more information, visit or call the library at (563) 326-7832.
