The public returns record number of potentially dangerous prescription drugs

DAVENPORT, Iowa – On October 23, 2017, United States District Court Judge Stephanie M. Rose sentenced Darrell Rasean Ratliff, age 28, of Davenport, Iowa, to 120 months in prison for felon in possession of a firearm, announced United States Attorney Marc Krickbaum. Ratliff was also ordered to serve three years of supervised release following imprisonment and to pay $100 to the Crime Victims’ Fund.

DAVENPORT, Iowa - On September 21, 2017, Chief United States District Court Judge John A. Jarvey sentenced Michael Scott Parker, 32, formerly of Davenport, Iowa, to 80 months in prison after pleading guilty to felon in possession of a firearm, announced United States Attorney Kevin E. VanderSchel. Parker was also ordered to serve three years of supervised release and pay $100 to the Crime Victims’ Fund.

DAVENPORT, IA – On August 30, 2017, Eugene Williams, Jr., 22, of Davenport, Iowa, was sentenced by United States District Court Judge Rebecca Goodgame Ebinger to 70 months in prison for felon in possession of a firearm, announced United States Attorney Kevin E. VanderSchel. Williams will serve three years of supervised release following his imprisonment. The firearm involved in the offense was forfeited.

DAVENPORT, IA – On August 30, 2017, Paris Hollingshed, 37, of Davenport, Iowa, was sentenced by Chief United States District Court Judge John A. Jarvey to 120 months in prison for felon in possession of a firearm, announced United States Attorney Kevin E. VanderSchel. Hollingshed will serve three years of supervised release following his imprisonment. Hollingshed was found guilty of this charge after a three-day jury trial on March 3, 2017.

Jarvey to 84 months in prison for felon in possession of a firearm, announced United States Attorney Kevin E. VanderSchel. Armstrong will serve three years of supervised release following his imprisonment and pay $100 to the Crime Victims’ Fund.

Jarvey to 36 months in prison for felon in possession of a firearm, announced United States Attorney Kevin E. VanderSchel. Grandberry was ordered to serve three years of supervised release following his imprisonment and to pay $100 to the Crime Victims’ Fund.

DAVENPORT, IA – On August 22, 2017, Dr. Paul Matthew Bolger, 45, of Bettendorf, Iowa, pleaded guilty to 18 counts of false statements relating to health care matters and five counts of introduction of misbranded drugs. He also pleaded guilty to one count of false statements relating to health care matters for conduct occurring in California and transferred from the Central District of California to the Southern District of Iowa, announced United States Attorney Kevin E. VanderSchel.

DAVENPORT, IA – On August 17, 2017, John Allen Abbott, 50, of Clinton, Iowa, was sentenced by United States District Court Judge Stephanie M. Rose to 240 months in prison for conspiracy to manufacture, distribute, and possess with intent to distribute 50 grams and more of actual methamphetamine and 500 grams and more of mixtures containing methamphetamine, announced United States Attorney Kevin E. VanderSchel.
