DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 27, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits cancelled their Saturday-night game with the Clinton Lumberkings due to rain. This game will not be made up as the two teams do not meet again in the first-half. Earlier today, the first game of the scheduled double-header was postponed and moved to Sunday.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 27, 2019) ― The Quad Cities River Bandits, in conjunction with the Houston Astros, have announced the following changes to their roster on Saturday. Pitchers Jonathan Bermudez and Felipe Tejada have been transferred from extended spring-training to Quad Cities. Pitchers Cody Deason and Matt Ruppenthal have been transferred from Quad Cities to extended spring-training.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 27, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits waited a long time to play their first home game of 2019. The conclusion to their home-opener turned out to be well worth the wait as Alex Holderbach’s walk-off two-run home-run in the bottom of the 12th-inning gave the River Bandits a 7-6 victory over the Clinton LumberKings on Friday night at Modern Woodmen Park.

CLINTON, IOWA (April 25, 2019) — The Clinton LumberKings scored five runs over the final two-innings to turn a tie game into a series-opening 7-2 victory over the Quad Cities River Bandits on Thursday afternoon at Ashford University Field. The game was the final contest in a stretch of 19 consecutive games away from Modern Woodmen Park for the River Bandits to open the season.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 24, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits, in conjunction with the Houston Astros, have announced the following changes to their roster on Wednesday. Pitcher Brett Daniels has been transferred from Corpus Christi (Double-A) to Quad Cities. Pitcher Joey Gonzalez has been transferred from Fayetteville (Advanced-A) to Quad Cities. Pitcher Willy Collado has been transferred from Quad Cities to Fayetteville (Advanced-A).

PEORIA, ILLINOIS (April 24, 2019) — Jeremy Pena enjoyed a big night at the plate and on the field as he helped to lead the Quad Cities River Bandits to a 4-1 victory over the Peoria Chiefs Wednesday at Dozer Park. Pena hit his first home-run of the season to give the Bandits an early lead and closed out the game by starting a triple-play in the bottom of the ninth to end the game with the tying-run at the plate.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 24, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits announced Wednesday that the team will play its first home-game of the 2019 season at Modern Woodmen Park on Friday, April 26 at 6:35PM against the Clinton LumberKings. The recent construction of an elevated walkway allowing fans to cross the railroad tracks and enter the ballpark will make it possible for the River Bandits to play games on their home-field later this week.

PEORIA, ILLINOIS (April 23, 2019) — Austin Hansen and RJ Freure combined on the second shutout of the season, allowing just one hit in the process, as the Quad Cities River Bandits evened their three-game series against the Peoria Chiefs with an 8-0 win on Tuesday afternoon. The River Bandits offense also collected a season-high 13 hits in the contest.

PEORIA, ILLINOIS (April 22, 2019) — Tommy Parsons tossed the first complete game of the Midwest League season to guide the Peoria Chiefs to a 7-0 win over the Quad Cities River Bandits in the opening game of a three-game series on Monday night at Dozer Park. The right-hander allowed a pair of doubles in the third inning and nothing else as he improved to 3-0 on the season. The River Bandits have been held scoreless in three of the last four games.
