CLINTON, IOWA (April 11, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits scheduled game in Clinton on Thursday evening was postponed due to heavy rains throughout the day at Ashford University Field. The game will be rescheduled at a later date.

The River Bandits are scheduled to host Clinton later this month at Modern Woodmen Park. That is the only other scheduled meeting between the two clubs in the first-half of the season.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 11, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits, in conjunction with the Houston Astros, have announced the following changes to their roster on Thursday. Infielder Austin Dennis has been transferred from extended spring training to Quad Cities. Catcher Oscar Campos has been placed on the 7-Day Injured List.

CLINTON, IOWA (April 10, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits sent nine batters to the plate and scored four runs in the ninth inning to turn a 4-3 deficit into a 7-4 victory on Wednesday night at a chilly Ashford University Field. Enmanuel Valdez’s two-run single up the middle with the bases loaded turned out to be the decisive hit in the comeback. By winning the first three games in Clinton, the River Bandits secured their first series victory of the season.

CLINTON, IOWA (April 9, 2019) — Austin Hansen and Shawn Dubin combined to strike out 20 Clinton LumberKings hitters as the Quad Cities River Bandits picked up a 2-0 win at Clinton’s Ashford University Field on Tuesday night. The two right-handers allowed a combined six hits and did not walk a batter. The shutout win was the first of the year for the Bandits.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 8, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits and TBK Bank, SSB have announced an initiative to renovate youth baseball and softball fields in the Quad Cities and surrounding areas. The first project as part of this initiative will be completed this week at Northwest Park in Davenport.

CLINTON, IOWA (April 8, 2019) — Nine innings weren’t enough to decide a back-and-forth affair between the Quad Cities River Bandits and Clinton LumberKings at Ashford University Field on Monday night. The River Bandits escaped with a 6-5 victory after Jeremy Pena’s bases loaded walk in the top of the tenth inning proved to be the difference in the Bandits first extra-innings game of the season.

BURLINGTON, IOWA (April 6, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits surrendered three home runs on Sunday afternoon, leading to a 5-3 defeat at the hands of the Burlington Bees at Community Field. Burlington took three of the four games in the season-opening set.
