DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 22, 2019) — Quad Cities River Bandits pitcher Shawn Dubin has been named the Midwest League Pitcher of the Week for the week of April 15-21. He is the first River Bandits player to receive a weekly honor from the league this season.

PEORIA, ILLINOIS (April 19, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits were held without a hit for the first time since 2017 in a 1-0 defeat at the hands of the Kane County Cougars on Friday night at Peoria’s Dozer Park. It represented the tenth time the team has been no-hit in their franchise history. The River Bandits have not scored in the last 22 innings that they have come to the plate.

PEORIA, ILLINOIS (April 18, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits were limited to just three hits in a series-opening 2-0 loss to the Kane County Cougars at Peoria’s Dozer Park on Thursday night. The entire series was relocated from Modern Woodmen Park due to a lack of access to the ballpark.

CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA (April 17, 2019) — Due to the threat of severe weather in Cedar Rapids, the Quad Cities River Bandits series finale Wednesday evening against the Cedar Rapids Kernels has been postponed.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Monday, May 13, at Perfect Game Field in Cedar Rapids. The twin bill will feature two seven-inning contests with game one beginning at 5:30PM.

CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA (April 16, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits surrendered a season-high in runs and hits and also walked a season-high nine-batters in falling 11-2 to the Cedar Rapids Kernels on Tuesday night at Perfect Game Field. Cedar Rapids pounded out nine extra-base hits on the night and five different players collected three hits.

CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA (April 15, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits received a dominant performance on the mound from Shawn Dubin and collected a season-high 13-hits to record a 7-2 win over Cedar Rapids on Monday night at Perfect Game Field. All nine hitters in the Bandits lineup finished with at least one hit.

APPLETON, WISCONSIN (April 14, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits had their five-game winning-streak snapped by the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers in a 6-3 loss at Fox Cities Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Wisconsin hitters capitalized on eight walks from Bandits pitchers and collected eight hits. The Bandits took two of the three games in the series.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 14, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits, in conjunction with the Houston Astros, have announced the following changes to their roster on Sunday. Pitcher Jojanse Torres has been transferred from extended spring-training to Quad Cities. Pitcher Brett Daniels has been transferred from Quad Cities to Corpus Christi (Double-A).

APPLETON, WISCONSIN (April 13, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits extended their winning streak to five games with a 6-1 win at Wisconsin’s Fox Cities Stadium on Saturday evening. The River Bandits overcame frigid conditions to tally 11 hits. Brett Conine and Matt Ruppenthal combined to strike out 12 Wisconsin hitters and limit the Timber Rattlers to just three hits. The Bandits have won five consecutive games.

MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN (April 12, 2019) — A five-run sixth inning propelled the Quad Cities River Bandits to an 8-3 series-opening victory over the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers at Miller Park in Milwaukee on Friday night. During the big inning, the Bandits collected five hits, four of them going for extra bases, to break away from a 2-2 tie. The win is the fourth in a row for the Quad Cities.
