GROW Clinton Donates $7,500 to Junior Achievement, Allowing More Students in Clinton County to Benefit from JA Learning Experiences

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (October 11, 2022) — Junior Achievement of the Heartland is partnering with GROW Clinton to provide JA learning experiences to K-12th-grade students. Thanks to this $7,500 donation from GROW Clinton, JA curriculum will impact almost 1,200 students in the Camanche, Clinton, and Fulton communities during the 2022-2023 school year. These programs are centered on financial literacy and help students gain a strong foundation for healthy money-management skills.

Junior Achievement of the Heartland Searching for Volunteers to Teach Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurship, and More to Students

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (February 24, 2022) — Junior Achievement of the Heartland is looking for volunteers to teach students about work and career readiness in K-12 classrooms. Dougal Nelson, President and CEO of JA of the Heartland, said they are looking for community members, parents or guardians, retired teachers, corporate partners and more to go into the classroom and share the JA lessons.

Junior Achievement of the Heartland, a member of the global JA network, has been serving young people in the Quad Cities and surrounding areas for 66 years, equipping them with the skillset and mindset to create sustainable businesses, find meaningful employment, and build thriving communities.
