MOLINE, ILLINOIS (March 30, 2026) — Junior Achievement of the Heartland invites the community to participate in the annual Jim Victor Memorial JA Golf Classic, set for Monday, May 4, at Crow Valley Golf Club in Davenport. Registration is now open for this signature fundraiser, which supports JA programs focused on financial literacy, work, and career readiness, and entrepreneurship in area schools, expanding economic mobility for the students we serve.

As Junior Achievement of the Heartland celebrates its seventieth anniversary, this tournament represents the organization's enduring commitment to preparing young people for the workforce and economy of tomorrow. JA's Education for What's Next initiative equips students with the real-world skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and financial knowledge they need to succeed in school, career, and life.

The event honors Jim Victor, a dedicated champion of Junior Achievement who served on the local board of directors, taught numerous JA classes, and helped establish the Free Enterprise Foundation, an endowment created to ensure the long-term sustainability of JA's mission-driven programs. This year would have marked his 25th year as the tournament's title sponsor.

"The Jim Victor Memorial JA Golf Classic brings together community members who share a passion for investing in young people," said Lysa Hegland, President/CEO of Junior Achievement of the Heartland. "As we celebrate seventy years of impact, every dollar raised through this tournament helps us expand our reach and open doors of economic opportunity for the next generation of leaders right here in our community."

Individual player and team registrations are available, as well as sponsorship opportunities for businesses looking to make an even greater impact. To register or learn more, visit heartland.ja.org/events/2026-jim-victor-memorial-ja-golf-classic.

This year's tournament is proudly sponsored by HNI Corporation, RSM US LLP, and KWQC-TV6.
