DAVENPORT, IOWA (March 6, 2023) — Scott County Auditor Kerri Tompkins wants voters in local school districts to be aware of Special Elections on March 7. “Voters in Davenport, Bettendorf, Durant and Calamus-Wheatland School Districts have public measures on the ballot,” said Tompkins. DAVENPORT, IOWA (January 27, 2023) — The Scott County Board of Supervisors Vacancy Committee (Committee) met yesterday and unanimously appointed Davenport resident, Rita Rawson. The Committee included Auditor Kerri Tompkins, Treasurer Tony Knobbe and Recorder Rita Vargas. There was an application process that began on January 5 and concluded on January 24. This process garnered 27 very strong and well-qualified applicants.

Early Voting Options

DAVENPORT, IOWA (August 30, 2022) – Scott County Auditor Kerri Tompkins announced that Tuesday, August 30th is the first day for voters to submit requests for absentee ballots by mail for the November 8th General Election. You must request an absentee ballot in order to receive a ballot via the mail. Ballots will begin to be mailed on October 19.

The completed absentee ballot request form is due in our office by 5PM on Monday, October 24.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (July 12, 2022) — Scott County Auditor, Kerri Tompkins announced today that the filing period for candidates for non-party political organizations (NPPOs) and candidates nominated by petition for the upcoming General Election, held on November 8, 2022, has been modified to run from Monday, August 8, to Wednesday, August 31, 5PM. Non-party political organizations in Iowa include the Libertarian Party and the Green Party.
