Record Number of Students to Participate in STEM Programming in 2023-24

CEDAR FALLS, IOWA (May 3, 2023) — The Iowa Governor’s STEM Advisory Council anticipates more than 125,000 students in Iowa will benefit from the STEM Scale-Up Program in the 2023-2024 academic year. The STEM Scale-Up Program provides educators and students throughout the state with access to some of the best available STEM educational opportunities from across the country.

Scale-Up Program Applications Now Open for Iowa Educators to Access World-Class STEM Programs

CEDAR FALLS, IOWA (January 9, 2023) — The Iowa Governor’s STEM Advisory Council announces applications have opened for the STEM Scale-Up Program which provides educators and students throughout the state with access to exemplary STEM educational opportunities. These programs are some of the top in the nation and offer a diverse range of STEM activities to nearly 100,00 students each year. The application period for the STEM Scale-Up Program closes on February 28, 2023, 6PM.

CEDAR FALLS, IOWA (June 29, 2022) — The Iowa Governor’s STEM Advisory Council is anticipating that more 112,000 students throughout the state will benefit from STEM Scale-Up Programming in the 2022-2023 academic year. Nearly 2,000 educators are expected to engage with thirteen selected programs offering high-quality STEM education and experiences for PreK-12 students and educators in-school, after-school, and other educational settings.
