Update of Motor Vehicle Collision Involving School Bus, May 18

SCOTT COUNTY, IOWA (May 21, 2026) — The driver of the school bus involved in this incident has been identified as Boise C Schoonover of rural Davenport. Mr Schoonover was cited for FAIL TO YIELD UPON ENTERING THROUGH HIGHWAY.  IA code 321.321

The driver of the pick-up truck has been identified as Barry F Parsons of Wheatland. Mr Parsons was not cited for the incident.

The investigation into this incident is complete.
