BETTENDORF, IOWA (October 29, 2025) — This summer, neighbors across the Quad Cities dug into their backyards and community plots with a shared purpose: Grow food, fight hunger, and build stronger connections. Thanks to support from the Quad Cities Community Foundation’s Transformation Grant, Tapestry Farms has launched GIFT Gardens (Growing Illowa Food Together), a community-driven food initiative.

BETTENDORF, IOWA (September 29, 2025) — Thirty-six local non-profits are receiving $629,000 through the Quad Cities Community Foundation’s Operations and Program Grants.

The Operations and Program Grants are made possible by generous donations to Field of Interest Funds as well as the Quad Cities Community Impact Fund. The grants make up the Community Foundation’s largest competitive grantmaking cycle each year.

Made possible by the Walton Family Foundation and guided by the Clean River Advisory Council (C-RAC), the grant program supports local organizations leading efforts to address environmental and community challenges along the Mississippi River.
