LINCOLN, NEBRASKA (May 11, 2026) — The University of Nebraska-Lincoln conferred a record 3,885 degrees during commencement exercises May 8-9.

The 3,762 graduates — also a record — are from 61 countries; 45 US states and the District of Columbia; and 230-plus Nebraska communities.

LINCOLN, NEBRASKA (May 4, 2026) — Olivia Lynn Hansen of East Moline is among 102 University of Nebraska-Lincoln students who will be recognized as Chancellor's Scholars during the undergraduate commencement ceremonies May 9 at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Hansen is an animal science (pre-veterinary medicine) major in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources. Parents are Ken and Shari Hansen.

LINCOLN, NEBRASKA (February 6, 2026) — Michael Henderson of Muscatine has been named to the Deans' Commendation List at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the fall semester of the 2025-26 academic year.

Henderson, a junior majoring in PGA golf management, was named to the Dean's Commendation List for the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.

More than 400 students at Nebraska were named to the Commendation List for the fall semester.

LINCOLN, NEBRASKA (February 4, 2026) — More than 7,000 University of Nebraska-Lincoln students have been named to the Deans' List for the fall semester of the 2025-26 academic year.

Qualification for the Deans' List varies among the eight undergraduate colleges and the Explore Center.

LINCOLN, NEBRASKA (December 23, 2025) — Dylan Parrott of Long Grove was among 1,175 graduates who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during commencement exercises December 19 and 20 at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Parrott earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the College of Business.

Chancellor Rodney D Bennett presided over the ceremonies.

The graduates are from 44 countries, 39 US states, and 140-plus Nebraska communities.

LINCOLN, NEBRASKA (September 10, 2025) — Kaylynn Huot of Muscatine, Iowa, a fisheries and wildlife major in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, is among a record 739 University of Nebraska-Lincoln students selected to join the University Honors Program this fall. The cohort is 15% larger than the previous record class in 2019.

LINCOLN, NEBRASKA (May 19, 2025) — Abigail Leigh Hebl of Davenport was among 3,591 graduates who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during commencement exercises May 3, 17, and 18.

Hebl earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering from the College of Engineering.

The graduates are from 57 countries, 46 US states, and 250-plus Nebraska communities.
