JOHNSTON, IOWA (September 8, 2025) — On Saturday, over 1,800 Iowa Corn farmers and their families gathered in Ames, Iowa, to kick off the 2025-26 Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series. The tradition, in its fourteenth year, is a tribute to the hardworking student athletes who inspire us with the work they do on and off the field, just like the Iowa corn farmers who produce the more than 4,000 everyday products made from corn.

During the Iowa Corn Grassroots Summit, a group of over 130 farmer-member delegates from across the state voiced opinions and thoughts on legislative priorities and policies, setting the direction for state and federal policy priorities for the coming year.
