Boasting a discography currently composed of four studio albums, one EP, and 15 singles since 2015, chart-topping, multi-platinum-selling country superstar Chris Stapleton headlines a June 1 concert event at Moline's Vibrant Arena at the MARK, the artist's professional laurels including eight Grammy Awards, 10 Academy of Country Music Awards 14 Country Music Association Awards, and five Billboard Music Award,

Born in Lexington, Kentucky in 1978, Stapleton grew up in the state's Staffordsville, and moved to Nashville in 2001 to pursue an engineering degree from Vanderbilt University. He subsequently dropped out to pursue his career in music, signed a contract with Sea Gayle Music to write and publish his music, and as of 2018, the singer/songwriter and guitarist has amassed credits writing and co-writing more than 170 songs. Stapleton has co-written six chart-topping country hits, among them Kenny Chesney's five-week number-one smash "Never Wanted Nothing More," Josh Turner's "Your Man," George Strait's "Love's Gonna Make It Alright," and Luke Bryan's "Drink a Beer." His songs have appeared on many artists' albums, including releases by Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, and Taylor Swift, and he has enjoyed co-writing collaborations with talents including Vince Gill, Peter Frampton, Sheryl Crow, and Ed Sheeran.

As a vocalist, Stapleton sang lead in two bands before he started recording as a solo artist – the SteelDrivers and the Jompson Brothers – and afterward released his solo debut: 2015's critically acclaimed studio album Traveller, which reached number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 and was certified four-times platinum. His second studio album From a Room: Volume 1 was released in May of 2017, and earned Stapleton a second CMA Award for Album of the Year, as well as a Grammy Award for Best Country Album. From a Room: Volume 2 was released in December of 2017, while Stapleton's fourth studio album Starting Over, for which he won his third Grammy for Best Country Album, debuted in 2020.

Stapleton has been recognized with several awards including eight Grammy Awards, 14 Country Music Association, Awards, and 10 Academy of Country Music Awards, also earning recognition as the ACM's Artist-Songwriter of the Decade. Traveller, meanwhile, was cited as Billboard's Top Country Album of the decade, and earlier this year, less than 10 years nto his superstardom, Rolling Stone ranked Stapleton at number 170 on its list of the "200 Greatest Singers of All Time."
