Humming House at the Triple Crown Whiskey Bar & Raccoon Motel -- March 27.

Tuesday, March 27, 7 p.m.

Triple Crown Whiskey Bar & Raccoon Motel, 304 East Third Street, Davenport IA

Described by American Songwriter as “a standout live act that loosely interprets the label of a 'folk' band,” the talents of Humming House will also share their roots-rock and bluegrass stylings in a Moeller Nights concert on March 27, demonstrating why Glide magazine stated, “Over years of touring, the group has managed to craft a sound that is incredibly tight but also unbelievably catchy.”

Based in Nashville and composed of vocalist Justin Wade Tam, fiddler Bobby Chase, mandolin player Joshua Wolak, and bass player Benjamin Jones, Humming House originated through living-room jam sessions and local gigs that eventually inspired the group's self-titled 2012 album debut. While gaining ever-greater awareness in Nashville through their Americana, folk, and roots concerts, the band released the live album Humming House Party! in 2014, and followed it the next year with the musicians' third release Revelries, which inspired PopShifter.com to rave, “Revelries has a warm and inviting quality that gives it replay value one million times over.”

With over 500 shows performed over the past five years, Humming House has toured with nationally renowned acts including Kacey Musgraves, St. Paul & the Broken Bones, Drew Holcomb, and Eric Hutchinson, and its songs have been heard on several network-TV series – among them Justified, Hart of Dixie, and MTV’s World of Jinx – and in a recent T-Mobile advertising campaign. The band's fall release Companion, meanwhile, found Humming House earning career-best accolades, with Billboard lauding its “infectious ebullience,” and BestNewBands.com praising the ensemble for its “beautifully honest” vocals and “bold approach and brazen feeling.”

Humming House's March 27 concert at the Triple Crown Whiskey Bar & Raccoon Motel starts at 7 p.m., tickets are $15, and more information is available by visiting MoellerNights.com.
