Helms and his band the Virginia Creepers headline an August 28 concert at Davenport's Raccoon Motel, the young artist's first album also hailed by No Depression as "well-written, with memorable melodies and vivid lyrical imagery."

An iconic country artist will be saluted by an award-winning vocalist on August 29 when Rock Island's Circa '21 Dinner Playhouse hosts two performances of the concert event Karen as Dolly: Dolly Parton Tribute, with Karen Hester returning to the theatre to present the look, sound, and spirit of one of the most successful, and certainly most beloved, personalities in modern American history.

On August 28, the 2022 winner of Graceland’s Ultimate Elvis Competition will bring his stunning impersonation skills to the Circa '21 Dinner Playhouse when the Rock Island venue hosts two performances of The King in Concert, with the critically lauded stage sensation Victor Trevino Jr. taking audiences on a thrilling trip through the decades and some of the most beloved rock, soul, and gospel tunes of all time.

Hailed by Country Now as “"country music's next female superstar,” the chart-topping, multi-platinum-selling singer/songwriter Gabby Barrett headlines an August 16 concert event at Davenport's Rhythm City Casino Resort Event Center, the artist noted for her top-three placement on American Idol and number-one Billboard hits such as “I Hope” and “The Good Ones.”

With Holler Country praising his 2020 studio recording Good Time as a “delightful debut album” boasting “bouncing trap beats and crispy country funk basslines,” country-pop singer/songwriter Niko Moon headlines an August 17 concert at Davenport's Capitol Theatre, the artist's Alternating Currents engagement treating fans to the talents of the man who has written songs for the likes of Dierks Bentley, Zac Brown Band, Rascal Flatts, and Morgan Wallen.

For this year's annual Riverfront Pops concert event in Davenport's LeClaire Park, the Quad City Symphony Orchestra and Quad City Bank & Trust invite audiences to rock out with the talents of Jeans 'n' Classics and conductor Hisham Bravo Groover during the August 17 extravaganza The Music of Led Zeppelin, a celebration of the iconic artists and their legendary repertoire that includes “All of My Love,” “Good Times Bad Times,” “D’yer Mak’er,” and “Stairway to Heaven.”

With this year's weekend event held in conjunction with Rock Island's annual Family Fun Day and the area-wide Alternating Currents Festival, Polyrhythms is proud to host the 10th-annual Bill Bell Jazz & Heritage Festival, an August 16 through 18 celebration of cultural heritage in the Quad Cities named after the late musician, educator, and East Moline native lovingly known as “The Jazz Professor.”
