Theme: Cats, Calico and Cross Stitch

The annual Bishop Hill Quilt Show will be held at the Bishop Hill Colony School. Bishop Hill, Illinois, on Friday May 19 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Saturday May 20 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday May 21 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., sponsored by the Prairie Queen Quilt Club and The Bishop Hill Arts Council.

Come spend the day in Bishop Hill and attend the show, visit gift & antique shops, quilt shop, museums, bakery, tea room, lunch room, general store or walk around the park and village and soak up the history.

The quilt show offers many quilted items for your enjoyment (Friday is viewers' choice voting), demonstrations each day by quilt club members and some great bargains for a nominal fee in the “trash & treasures” corner of the main quilt show room -- available until we sell out -- and really good raffle baskets to take a chance on. Admission is only $5 to the show which is shared with the Arts Council and used by the quilt club for obtaining supplies and making love/charity quilts and quilts of valor for donation to local hospitals, extended care homes or our veterans.

Mark your calendars. See you in May.
