Polls Open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for Most Polling Places. Polls Open from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. for Nine Smaller Cities. DAVENPORT – Scott County Auditor Roxanna Moritz announced today that all polling places in the cities of Davenport, Bettendorf, Eldridge, LeClaire, Blue Grass, Walcott, Long Grove and Riverdale will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 7, 2017. These cities have contested races and historically greater turnout of voters for municipal elections. Ballots will be machine counted for these cities. Early voting in the Auditor’s Office for these cities will end at 5:00 p.m. on November 6th. She also announced that polling places in the cities of Buffalo, Dixon, Donahue, Maysville, McCausland, New Liberty, Panorama Park and Princeton will be open from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 7, 2017. These cities do not have contested races and most have historically lesser turnout of voters for municipal election. Also, ballots in these cities will be hand counted rather than machine counted. Shorter voting hours and hand counting ballots will save costs for these cities. Early voting in the Auditor’s Office for these cities will end at 11:00 a.m. on November 7th. Two New Voting Locations in Scott County

Voters in two Scott County precincts will have new voting locations for the upcoming November 7th city election. Voters in Davenport precinct D-14 will now vote at Credit Island Lodge, 2200 West River Drive, Davenport. They previously voted at Westside Assembly of God. Buffalo voters will now vote at the Buffalo Activity Center – City Hall, 329 Dodge Street, Buffalo. They previously voted at the Buffalo Fire Station.
