DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 3, 2019) — Do you think you read faster than any of your friends? Are you able to open a bag of chips and eat them while making absolutely no sound? Teens (ages 11-19) are invited to the 2nd Annual Teen Silent Reading Party Monday, June 24, 6-7:30PM, at Eastern (6000 Eastern Ave), where they’ll read a lot, compete in random challenges, and win so, so many prizes — all while staying completely silent for an hour and a half. We'll once again be playing our favorites: Hulk Hands Charades, Bubble Wrap running, and Pop Can Pop, while also adding some new challenges inspired by the deep silence of outer space!

This event is FREE and open to the public. For more information, visit www.davenportlibrary.com or call the library at (563) 326-7832.
