Rock Island, IL and Davenport, IA--Christian Care in Rock Island and the Humility of Mary, Inc. of Davenport hosted the 5th Annual Have a Heart for the Homeless Luncheon on Saturday, February 3, 2018. The event was held at CASI, 1035 W. Kimberly Road, Davenport, IA. Tickets got you a catered lunch by Biaggi’s and entertainment. A silent auction and raffle baskets was also available. Proceeds from the event support programs and services at both shelters; Christian Care and Humility of Mary.
Christian Care and the Humility of Mary, Inc. provide safe shelter, supportive services and programs specific to veterans and other homeless individuals in our community. Christian Care is a men only shelter, while Humility of Mary, Inc. serves individuals and families.
Modern Woodmen of America members are supporting this event. All proceeds raised will be matched by Modern Woodmen up to $2,500.00
